I see you point.

I guess I could see how that may be the case with a lot of people.
Oh and tip for you. Don't play poker, lol.
I think my brother got "consumed" with that vice.

Potheads are just as annoying as drunks to me.
The difference with doing drugs and alcohol is with alcohol you have a more advanced warning that you might have an addiction issue. With drugs, even weed, one time can get you hooked. I messed with weed several times in my youth and didn't like it. Knowing what I know now I wouldn't have ever tried it. However I will say having been drunk and stoned I would much rather be on the road with people smoking weed than someone who is drunk.

What about that single mother of 2 young child, that lives in an apartment above some pothead? If a 'sloppy drunk' lived there instead iof the pothead, she/he can drink all they want and those kids won't be breathing in all the nasty smoke/fumes/etc?
Smoke rises
most don't leave their windows open anyway.

This is what I posted on the heated marijuana debate, but either way, I used to live in a college apartment (3rd floor, the top) before moving into our house and had some potheads below us. Used to stink up our apartment some something fierce. Thankfully not of us (my 3 roommates or myself) were really effected by it, but some friends who were over, girls who never smoked, were. Very embarrassing. I can only imagine a small child growing in an environment like that, with the same losers living beneath them over several years....

in the article it says it will get below 100k within the next decade.
I bet it will be a lot sooner than that.
Just like the space race, car companies are going to be racing to get hydrogen cars to americans, easy to fill up, and less expensive.
i'll bet if Toyota releases one, it will cost less, forcing honda to drop price, and so on and so forth. If 5 companies start making hydrogen vehicles, i could see it getting to a very reasonable price within the decade.
oh, and 600 a month is dirt cheap considering you dont have to fill up with gas. I filled up my truck for 90 yesterday, and i got thru that in 1 week, so 360 a month for gas, plus the occasional roadtrip, so well say 400 a month for gas. water is dirt cheap, so if i could fill up from my hose, i would be paying like $235 a month for a super environment friendly car. If i was looking for a new car, and lived in Cali, i would get one. THATS IF I COULD FILL UP AT MY HOUSE.

Ahhh if you only filled the car with water you would have a point. Hydrogen is VERY expensive to create.

it would be cool if there was a machine that any home-owner could have that would convert water to hydrogen... sorta like a RODI unit...

Convert your car to run on natural gas. You can set up a system in the back yard to safely fill up your car. No road taxes and cars run very well on it.

lol, how much is a tank of hydrogen? This is green option, not a cheap option.

i dont know if it was in the article (i didnt read it since ive been following this car since the first model was released in '02), but many of the celebrities are flying to japan for the release. does anyone else find it funny that these people are completely offsetting the carbon they wont emit with this car by flying to japan? it sort of proves that most of the celebrities dont actually care about the environment, they just do it for publicity, or theyre just really stupid. sort of reminds me of when paul mcartney had realized that having his electric car aired to england instead of shipped multiplied the carbon emissions by like 50.

I don't find it suprising because it isn't about the environment to begin with.
