Woohoo got my lion to eat non live food

Finally, it took me a week, but I got my Lion to eat (un)frozen krill. The pet shop said he had only eaten live gold fish. He was getting hungry tonight, and I was out of live goldfish. I took a thawed out Krill and he watched....I kept pushing the Krill under water with a bamboo stick and kept at it for about a minute....and WHAM.....he got it! I kept watching him, and he was, it seemed like, waiting for more, so I got another and tempted him and WHAM!! He took the second one! Man do I feel god....no more live gold fish. He is almost 8 inches long and a real beaut... sorry, just had to post this!!!

. i just went through the samething just got mine to eat silversides for the last week and a half. i had 2 fuzzys and it too close to 3weeks to get them to eat. i just got my volitan and after a week frozen silverside

. now starve him for a day or two try again if he takes it which iam sure he will ur golden.
