Well me and mom were looking for catfood and we went into this petstore. They have a really nice looking tank with tons of LR. Im somewhat new in town and I didnt know that they had SWF. Its a pretty small town so it was sorta suprising.
We had to leave right away but I saw a clownfish, a small bangaii, a royal gamma, a red firefish, and something else I couldnt identify.
Anyway Im a bit relieved because although I wanna get my LR from this site, I wanted to buy my fish from a store and see them before I get them, and now I can get something if I need it right away.
Now for the question:
I was wondering how you can tell if the fish is healthy or not?

It should be clean and active as well as a healthy eater. Also, check the other tank inhabitants. :)

HaHa yup thats Aspen but not everyone here has farraries. Anyway I went back and there LR is AMAZING. Just pure Purple. Im going to see if I can buy from there. I was looking at the fish and one of the Bangaii's seemed fine but the other was at the top with his fins all down. The tank seemed to be running pretty well I think the guy there takes good care of it.

check for good eating, no ick, non split fins, good color healthy appearance. that's about all you can do on a visual. If there are sick fish in the same tank, don't buy the healthy looking fish, he will probably get sick soonl.
