Well back from my second shopping trip today. I can guarantee tonight on the news you will be hearing how bad this day was for retailers. There are very few people at the stores today.

really?? i was looking online at our local newstation and there were lines forming before stores opened - even at our outlet malls that opened at midnight! people came all the way from toronto to go to grove city outlets!

Sadly its probably good that i'm working today. Easy money. Else I would have sat at home and did a whole lot of nothing and made no money. Or gone out and spent money.

Keri, It is ture that people lined up for the "door buster" deals, but after those were gone there were not many people in the store. A couple years ago at Best Buy the line for the cashiers was literally wrapped around the stoer. This year I bought a couple of CDs because there was no line at all.
Ru, For some reason I always thought you had your own acct company. Am I wrong? (Oops just read your thread again and you did NOT have to go in today. I guess waking up at 4:00 today was not a good idea.)

Scotts - i do... i also work for a firm... thankfully i can take pretty much any day off i want to...

you woke up at 4 am??? thats about the time i was ging to sleep!!!

if that's the case, kind of pointless to open at 4 or 5 in the morning isn't it??? all i gotta say is thank god for cyber monday! i'm an online xmas shopper, not one for crowded shopping malls n crap

lol, I wish I could hop on public transportation. Instead I get to spend a ton of $$ driving up and down I-81 everyday.
