So I just made a playlist on my ipod to workout to (specifically running). They are all songs that I like with a pretty fast beat. Are there any of you out there that like the same songs or have suggestions on other songs that I could use?
Animals by Nickelback
How Long by Hinder
Blue Monday by Orgy
All the Small Things by Blink 182
You Knock Me Out by R. Kelly
Fortunate Son by CCR
Kanye's Workout by Kanye West
Got the Life by Korn
Jump Around by House of Pain
Anything, Anything by Dramarama
Black Horse and Cherry Tree by KT Tungstall
I Need To Know by Marc Anthony
Get Busy by Sean Paul
Butterfly by Crazy Town
Hard to Handle by Black Crowes
Flowers on the Wall by the Statler Brothers
What do you guys think?

I have a playlist on my ipod for working out that's littered with heavier Nickelback, Tool, Disturbed, Korn, Linkin Park, System of a Down, Stabbing Westward, Pantera, Powerman 5000, and a bunch others. I'm always on the lookout for new music, too.
Edit: this is also a good list to listen to while riding my motorcycle.... it really makes me want to go extra fast....heh.

hlc, you start working out recently or long timer?
Oh geez, long time, but this is the first time that I have made a playlist for it on my ipod. Just haven't gotten around to it before. I was thinking about it yesterday at the gym and I happened to get Animals by Nickelback pop up and realized it was the perfect tempo for running to and it made my workout so much easier for those couple of minutes. Anyway, just wanted to see if anyone knew any songs that they liked too.

I suggest That you arrange the songs to flow with your workout . Start out with something slower to warm up to.Then shift it into something fast with a heavy beat to get you right into the middle of it . Then slip down into something that maintains a good pace . Then slow it down for your cool down period .

I am not a big fan of techno or any new age music. It doesn't really put me in a very aggressive workout mood. House music gives me a splitting headache even though I like some of it.

I can agree with this playlist and add POD, AC/DC, Def Leppard, Godsmack. Keep Metallica, Korn. Great for working out. Then again, if you're using the playlist for running, you'd have to pick music that matches your pace. The songs i'm thinking about would be more for sprinting!

nothing is better alltime pumped angry music than rage against the machine. especially the first 2 albums (self titled and evil empire) IMO
their might be faster, there might be angrier , but that stuff is amazing, poetic, and brings out some mean emotions

I will have to check that out. I have never been a big Rage Against the Machine fan but I will look at my BF's music. He has some of their stuff.
