Worm ID Please!!

Well i found this "little" (about inch and a half) guy last night and was able to scoop him up and expose of him. I would like to know as much about this worm as possible. He is orange/redish on both tips and has hairlike extensions along his body.

looks like a bristle worm

Bristle worm, common hitchiker, benificial scavanger and detritus eater. And by most standards thats a small one. Be carful when handling, some are called fire woms and can toss those little bristles into your skin. It can be very irritating and painful if this happens.

Well im glad to hear that its a bristle and not some bloodsucking, coral eating worm. He looked very nasty and gave me a little scare and made me think he was bad.
