Can't get a pic cuz the dang thing scares easy and goes back into the rock. But I saw this thing come out of one of the rocks a good 4 inches. It's black, has a white stripe near it's head and antenae looking things on it's head. Anyone have any ideas as to what it could be?

It might be a Notospermus tricuspidatus but the white striped didnt look like it was shaped as it is on that one. Not sure, but it was black.

It's black, has a white ring stripe near it's head that goes around the worm and has black antenae looking things with white spots on them on it's head. It is leaving solidified slime (?) behind itself when it comes out of the hole.

Looks like some type of feather duster to me.
Really? It doesnt have any kind of "feathers" on its head, just antenna with white spots. It rearely comes out unlike the other dusters in the tank. I can accept it is some kind of worm, and based on what I have read, it seems to be an ok worm.

I saw it was out further this time. It definatly has segments and I cannot tell if it has "bristles" on the sides or not, but it has to be atleast 5 to 6 inches long.

Definately not a feather duster. Your first picture is what featherdusters look like when they drop their filters. It's definately a bristleworm, I have not seen that species before but I wouldn't worry about it unless you see something in the area getting damaged.

Its just really big and scary looking. I have no idea how I would get it out without a trap of somekind. Its far too fast. Even with it out as in the pic above, it was back inside the rock in less than a second.
