Can anybody please tell me what are these little worms I have in my tank? They are real small (less than a 1/4 inch) and real thin like a hair. I have about 10-15 crawling around my tank. My tank is about a month old. Thanks
The pictures were enlarged.

It doesn't looke like it has any spines like a (bristtle worm). When I look at them in the tank they look black, when they are on the glass with light behind them they look reddish and white. Kind of like this
W < Head
W
W
R < Mid Section
R
R
R
R
R
R
W < Tail
W = White
R = Red

there is another type of worm that can get huge in a tank i cant remember what its called though. there was a thread long time ago where the guy pullled out a huge one that was living in the PVC pipeing in the system.
maybe someone that remembers the thread and can say what type of worm that was..
I will look and see if I can find it to .

that one if I remember right was in the tank for many years living in a return pipe getting lots and lots of food. plus there are many many different varieties of the same species of worms.
Did it look like it as far as coloration.
