I vote YES...bristleworm. Use a trap to catch it, or just grab it with some gloves on.

The worm in that post is a Euncid worm which is just one species of bristleworm. From what I can see in the pic it does look similar to the Euncid worm in my tank though.

Yank it out with some tweezers the next time you spot it him in the substrate like that. Then you'll be able to truely ID it. We can take guesses, but until we actually see some of the defining characteristics for a normal "bristleworm" or a eunice all they are are guesses.

sorry i have not responded for awhile. While i'm not 100% what it is, i have a pretty good guess.
I think its a feather duster out of its tube. I just recently bought one and a couple days after i bought him it left its tube and created a new one inside the sandbed. the pic you see above was probably it out of its tube. sorry for the confusion, it came to me finally.
here's day 1 of the FD

a couple days after

Awesome pics of the Feather Duster...

....but that's no feather duster in post #1. That's a bristle worm.

yes, but that's not what I meant. A feather duster is not the type we normally think about when someone says "bristle worm".
