I have just discovered a worm in my tank. I am not really sure what kind it is. Looks like a regular earth worm. I would like to find out if anyone could give some info on what to do with him/it. Good or bad for tank? Thanks for the future help! I have a picture that I can EMAIl if someone would like to see it...

I wouldnt consider that a problem. If you have live sand and rock creatures come in them. Read what swf.com has to say about live sand. Some creatures can be microscopic some a foot long. If it worries you take it out. Put it in a bag and then in the freezer (very humane death, as opposed to flushing it).

The color of the worm was white or milky white, very similar to an earth worm that you might see outside, maybe not as dark. Also looked like a very thin dk. blue line down the back.

sound alot like a punt worm, no need to worry and freezing to death is not hamane at all, but yes you could remove it if you really want to, that would not be a problem
