Worm poop? (feather duster)

Alright.
I just had a close look at my feather duster.
It has tiny grey looking pods moving up the feathers and being ejected into the water.
Is this "Waist"?
Or is something else going on??

I never noticed that happening with any of my dusters.
I'm thinking you have something else going on. Can you post a picture of it for us to look at?

I'm not sure what it is. I have several dusters in my favorite community tank and don't see anything like that on them.
I'm sorry - perhaps someone else can look at the picture and do a better identification.
Are you sure it just isn't leftover food that is moving around while the feathers wave?
How does the tube itself look?

The worm seems fine. Tube looks like its grown since Iv had it.
Food, I dont know. I usualy mix up phytoplancton in a soda bottle and then gentely squirt it over the feathers when I add it to the tank.
Thanks for the assistence though.
Feathers are the head end right?. So it poops out the other end. How do Hawian worms reproduce, eggs, young or what?.
Im off ot the local FS so Ill ask there and see if they can answer my question.
