Worms? good or bad

I am new to the hobby and my tank has been up for 6 weeks - 46 gal bowfront with live sand and a few pieces of live rock and 5lbs of base rock.
I noticed this morning that there are about 7 worms burrowing in the sand in one corner and they are orange and black in color ranging from 1 inch to 2 inches long. Anyone know what they might be and if I should get rid of them or just let them be and if I need to get rid of them what will do the trick.
I have a bicolor blenney, small yellow tang and two nemo clowns.
thanks

those are bristle worms. they can get out of control and if you have coral it is bad
if i were you i would get a bicolor pseudochromis or a six lined wrasse. they like to help keep the worms under control so they dont get out of hand.

Those are very beneficial detrivores. They will clean up waste and left over fish food. If something dies they will clean that up too before it fouls the tank.
They spawn often and this creates a very nutritious food for fish and corals.
They are a Polychaete (Bristle Worm). They have rows of bristles on each side of them that can be very irritating if you accidently touch them so be careful where you put your fingers. I can't determine anything more from your description but I would guess they are either a type of Fire Worm or Hair Worm.
I have many many of these worms in my system and they are a big part of my success in the hobby.
