worms in fish

is it possible for fish to get worms?? My tang has like a bunch of little worms hanging out of his anus. This is not a joke I really need advice.

First thing i'm not a pro at this. I just treated fish with prazipro and it treats for tapeworm,flatworm. You should get more advise. Good luck.

It sounds like tapeworm, for now feed the fish very well. there are dewormers, but if you have no luck, there is another way but it involves sedation of the fish, I will post directions if you want
