Worms in my tank!!

Hi all. I had a bad epidemic in my tank, my wonderful little fishies are all gone (think it was some ich picked up from a chain store, but I guess we'll never know exactly) :(
Anywhos, so the tank is still running with all the inverts in it (another reason why I'd say it's ich) and I checked now with a flashlight to see what's crawling around. I found a whole bunch of these guys:

[Not an actual picture from my tank, but this one looks exactly like mine]
Would you think this is a good thing or a bad thing in the tank? Is it a bristleworm? I don't have any corals in the tank.
Also, I have a bunch of critters that look like bugs, I think they're tiny shrimp. My friend says it looks like I have lice running around my tank.

[Again, not my picture but this is the best I could find on Google that looked like them]
What would you say these guys are? Are they harmful, beneficial, non-factors?
I brought up in the beginning that my fishies passed on because ever since then (about 10 days ago), all these guys have been running rampant. I'm hoping that after a few more weeks when the ich cycles out, I can put some fishies back in and they'll control these guys.
Thanks for your help.

1st pic is a bristleworm.....beneficial part of your clean up crew
2nd pic is an amphipod....good to have....will clean up and be food
Sorry to hear about your losses, I would leavethe tank empty of fish for a good 8 weeks to make sure if it was ich, that it is no longer there
