I now have alot of these pink worms looking things in my tank. I have no pictures.
they seem to be multiplying very quickly.
they are long and skinny with small arms on the side. They remind me of milliapeds
are these ok
if not how do I get rid of these
I would say I now have 50 of them climbing thru the rocks with new baby ones growing in the bubble algae.

Is there ever to many?
Is there any way to control them?
Or any thing that would eat them.
I also tried to pick a few out by hand, ouch, little things kinda hurt.

Arrow crabs and coral banded shrimp eat bristle worms.
If you start to get swelling or any marks from the sting you got, then go to a doctor immediately. There was one person on this forum who almost died from an allergic reaction to a sting she got (from a snail).

The rate they multiply is directly proportional to the amount of excess food in the tank.
If they are multiplying fast then it's a sign that you are overfeeding. Without all those worms the food would just rot & trash your tank. Be thankful that they are there.

I just got some more LR from the fish store and I noticed a bristlly looking worm like thing sticking part way out of a hole in the rock. I see it come out alittle then quickly go back in then come back alittle more.
