worms?

:notsure: i have these long white worms that in the live rock. and only really come out at night. have one or to that what i can see of them are about 2in long they never come all the way out of the rock and when i try to get them out the suck back up in the rock. are they good bad and and if not bad can they be left in the tank and any help would be usefull

they are called bristle worms. they are good, they will eat any unwanted food and if i'm not mistaken they have spikes on them so dont touch them

Not so sure these are bristleworms...There are just so many possibilities and the description is a little vague. Could be bristles, could be peanut worms though too. And probably a whole range of others.
But all in all, they are considered good to have - good scavengers.

I'd bet anything the worm he is describing is a peanut worm. Completely harmless.
