:help: I have these small white worms about 1cm-5cm coming from my LR. What are they? Do they benefit my aquarium?

Are they fine like hairs with multiple strands? Are they mobile in the tank or stationary in the rock? Most worm type hitchikers are a good part of the bio-diversity in your tank and will help in clean-up of detritus and leftover food. There are however nudibranchs that can come in with polyps or zoanthids that eat the coral.

Their spreaded out on the lr and stay at the same place. When i turn on the lighting their wrapped around the polyps.
