worms??

How can I get read of my briesele worms? They dont seem to be doing anytihng good in my tank, except stinging me . thanks

Never try to teach a worm to read. It just gets you frustrated and it annoys the worm.

I don't recommend you get rid of them but Bristle Worms will gladly crawl inside a small length of nylons and then you can just throw them out.
Perhaps you could trade them for something with someone on the board that has a shortage of worms.

Do you want these worms in your tank? I guess I was under the inpression that they werent good...hmm please correct me if im wrong

They eat leftover food, stir up some sand-a bit, have a self-controlled population. Only enough to eat the left over food.
Several books state that they get large enough to attack corals, fish, etc... I personally don't know anyone who can say that has happened from first hand experience. I've also never heard of anyone on this board actually seeing it happen.

The lady that owned the tank before me had a worm that measured out to be 10 inches!! Now thats pretty big. Will my fish eat them?

Some fish and inverts will, nothing beats "natural" food either! What all do you have?

well I have 2 queen conches, 9 tubo snails, 3 bennies, one clown, and some hermit crabs. Just got the tank a few days ago...planing on getting a couple tangs and a few more clowns

I have been trying to get some Bristle worms but my LFS won't even sell me any. They say that they are bad and they don't want to be responsible for me having them cause trouble in my tank. You have to chuckle at some of the things that some of the LFS's come up with.

Why wont they sell them to you? thats weird, they live in my rocks. The person that I bought the tank from was allergic to them and had to go the er cause she got stung by one! If I can cach some Id galdly give or trade some to you!
