Wormy things

I have little white wormy things in the bottom of my wet/dry. Could someone tell me what they are and how to get rid of them. When I clean my filter its covered with them.
I have only a yellow tang, star fish and two damsels. Also how did I get them? Thanks

These are probably copapods,or amphapods. Both are GOOD for your tank. They are a sign that things are going well and your tank is well on it's way to creating an established bio system. STEVE
