Tomorrow is an exciting day. I get to spend money on my fish tank again! Yay!
I plan to head to my LFS to pick up 8 cerith, 8 trochus, 2 nass and 2 emerald crabs to beef up my CUC. I'll also get a new bulb for my FNI 150w MH, a Phoenix 14k. Additionally I'll get some cheato and a 6500k and 10k 9w power compact for my corallife sump light to grow it.
I'll try to take pics tomorrow for you folks.

Got my CUC minus the nass. I don't think it is necessary at this time. I have about 2 or 3 big guys and a conch so that should work for picking up the scraps.
Got the Phoenix 14K and it is amazing, perfect balance of white and blue (for my tastes). Once I get my cleaning regimen on track hopefully I can start getting those expensive sticks. (Pocy and birds nest has always been my favorite).
Speaking of cleaning, it is today. After the kids head to bed I'll change out the water and clean the sand. I'll leave the rocks and back glass dirty for the snails.

So I changed 10g this morning. If I'm not careful this might become habit lol. I'm really glad I'm sticking to my schedule. So far its worked.
Haven't tested the water in a long time. The test kit I have is a few years old and I don't think I can trust it any more anyways.
I haven't seen my chromis in a few days so I'm assuming he died, which is really weird cause he was pretty healthy. One hypothesis I have is that the mithrax duo ganged up on him in his sleep. Can't verify though, no sign of a body.
The few corals I have left are looking super happy, which, in-turn, makes me super happy. I'm hoping this one rock of zoas I've had forever finally starts to spread onto the bigger rocks.
That's it for now, maybe I'll get some pics up if there are some people interested.

We are always interested in pictures! Glad the maintence is working out for you. "Working" on the tank can be relaxing and it sounds like you need some time to enjoy things and relax a bit. I would much rather clean my tank than my house--sometimes it shows to and I am okay with that.

Most of the time the tank is the only thing I clean around my house too. Until the wife gets mad then I might unload the dishes lol. Oh and vacuum, I kinda like vacuuming.
And you're right about tank maintenance being relaxing. My wife gives me time for myself to do it and the kids are usually at daycare or asleep. A welcomed distraction.
I'll work on those pictures today and hopefully post tonight.
