This is a picture of my new anemone. It has split from my original. the original anemone has split before and it is doing fine, but this one doesn't seem to be doing that great. It hasyet to change from green and open up. I don't think it is dead because it is moving around on my rock.

One problem, there is no picture. Once you can get a pic online, we can help. Thanks!

Sorry I can't post the new anemone picture. The new one is shriveled and green in color. I have made this post before but I thought I coul post a picture. I was just wondering what to do with him. He isn't getting big but he isn't dead. He has been like this for about a month.

Thats really weird. I've never heard ANYTHING like that before. Wait for a couple days and if he is still in that condition, in my opinoin, i think he will die. Sorry if he does!

OK hammy -
Could you post your water paramiters? This should include temp, salinity, nitrates, pH average, ammonia and nitrites should be at 0.
Lighting specs and information?
Try running a fresh batch of carbon for a few days and do a water change. This will help to give it a clean fresh enviroment, and you may see it perk up.
Other than that we should take a detailed look at your system, filtration, liverock, livesand, other corals, general info so we can try to figure out why he doesn't look so good.

Salty - Don't you think we should get some information before we just randomly doom an anemone to death?

Yeah. Went a little to fast there. And that concludes the show, Salty chee can't be a moderator or give helpful information!

I have two BTAs and sometimes they deflate and look green...sometimes its just natural and other times it can be a tell tale sign of a problem. If one of my BTA looks that way and the other one doesn't I usually dont worry about it. However if they are both that way for an extended period of time I check a couple of parameters just to reassure myself....if the lighting is good and the tank is well established (dont assume anything though) I usually find that hte problem is alkalinity or salinity....thats just my case though...
EDIT - ok I just reread your post once more. Looks like only the newly spawned anemone is the one thats having a problem....Hmmmm....not sure I know anything there...mine hasn't split yet...good luck.
