thank you very much everyone for your kind words! and your compassion...
it was a lil upsetting to see my poor little lion go from fine one minute to dead in the next... im not sure what hapopened i just got home from work and all the rest of my corals are doing just fine and same with all fish....
do fish have heart attacks or sudden deaths like humans?? it was just the wierdest experience ever! i mean i have had my mandarin for almost 3.5 years now so i know its nothing wrong with my tank ....
as for the other things just all bad luck... i fragged that purple pocci stopped it from further death... thinking that might have been a flow issue since the base was getting so shawdowed by the baseball sized top of the coral...
the monti is doing better now that its not gettin stung by the acan...
the coris wrasse dont know why it jumped but it didn it when i walked up to the tank so im thinking i might have spoked it for some reason...
just a bad day in general but i guess thats what happenes in this hobby....
but i just wanted to thank each and everyone of u very much for being so kind... i got more enjoyment of sharring pics of that lil lion with all of u and im glad u guys like it just as well!!!

Sorry about your loss. If you ever come up I-75 stop at exit 16 and I'll buy you the best steak you've ever had at Austin's. Ask for the manager with the goatee.

Murph......
I am so sorry for your losses. I know that the lion was my personal favorite. Jeez, this hobby is full of good days, but one loss of that magnitude takes a lot of those days away. Try to remember the good over the bad......easier said than done, I know. I am truely sorry.
I will throw this out to you.....chemical warfare in the tank, between the sps', could this have done this? Your perameters look great.

Oh Murph, saying sorry just doesn't seem to be enough. I think you might be on to something though, heart attack doesn't sound so far out. My dog died of a heart attack, so I'm assuming fish can too. Doesn't make it any easier though. Here's to a better day tomorrow.

Murph, sorry about you loss. Truly an amazing lion you had there. How bout doing a "memorial" thread for him. Posting several picks so as to pay tribute to it? I know We all loved him alot, so it would be kinda nice.

Murph, that was the most beautiful fuzzy I think I've ever seen. The only similar experiance I had was when my engineer goby all of a sudden swimming in circles really fast - like it was chasing it's tail. It then finally started getting worn out and then started turning white on the bottom of the tank - while gasping really hard - like it wasn't getting O2. I never found out why...
