No, Dear. I kept my last name. My Mother's father had girls, and my Mom and all my aunts had their names changed when they married. I wanted my Grandfather's name to go on, so I kept my Mother's maiden name when I got married. My father has my two brothers to carry on his name. Not everyone follows the archaic rule.
