Something to be considered....
This past weekend I went on a "tank tour" sponsored by our local club. One person had an established 175 bow with something like 200lbs of LR and he said his mandarin wiped it clean and was starting to look very thin. he said it once was crawling with pods. Now he has no refugium or anything....it is not a full reef but a FOWLR. Some of that rock is Texas "holey rock" as baserock which might be a certain factor.
But it is something to think about!!
