i HAVE:
yellow tang
pygmy angel
2 clowns
2 bengaii cardinals
i WANT to get also:
3 green chromis
dwarf lion
would this be too much? i have a 100 gallon tank with a sump and protien skimmer.
Thanks
Chris
if the water is moving well it shouldnt be a problem. a good equation to factor in is length of the tank multiplied by depth to get the surface area. take the surface area and divide by 48. this gives you the number of inches of fish to put in. Fish inches is a great system.... but it works through measuring the amount of dissolved oxygen in the water. The more the water moves the better! If your really woried add a few powerheads.

I don't know where you found that equation, but it won't work for the bioload.
1" of fish per 5 gallons is a better equation to go by. Don't overload your aquarium.
not to make an argument viper... but fish stress is usually caused by lack of dissolved oxygen (when it comes to overcrowding). I honestly dont remember where i received the equation, but i know i wouldnt have taken it if it werent reliable. If his tank can support the ammonia and other chemicals that will be created i would still say go for it. However, if viper feels strongly against it, dont do it.... viper gives good advice.
I see your point Bot. One thing I forgot to mention is, it is perfectly fine to past 1"/5 gallons, but only experienced people should. If you feel confident enough, by all means go for it, but still don't pass it by too much.
