Would it be possible...

to put a Snowflake Eel in a 75 Gallon tank that currently has a 3-4" Lion, a 3" Huma Huma, 2x 2.5" clowns and a 5" watchman goby. I also have a few soft corals and a Green bubble tip anemone. The 75 is hooked up to a 15 gallon sump, and a 20 gallon fuge, with a total of about 100-120 lbs of LR and 80 lbs of LS.
I would love to get an eel for the tank, but I dont want to put him in a situation where he will not thrive, or will endanger my other fish.
I will also be upgrading to a 120 or a 200 by this time next year as I will be moving and will finally have the room for a bigger tank.
Thanks

What kind of lion? If its a volitan, or similar large lion, the clowns will soon be lunch. Large lions grow incredibly fast when well fed. I know you're looking for suggestions, not criticism; but that's how we learn. I also think the Huma will begin shredding your lion sooner or later and the Huma certainly isn't reef safe. They can play nice for a while; but they turn into very aggressive fish sooner or later. There are many tempting targets for him in your tank now.. Aggressive triggers and lions seem logical together; but, IMO, just aren't. I know nothing about eels, so I'll stay away from that area.

I understand the criticism on the stock list, the way my system is setup, the fuge is actually a second tank that is on the other side of the wall that will become a holding area if any of the fish begin to get aggressive, at which point they will probably go back to my LFS. At this point the clowns are far too large for the Lion to eat, but as the lion gets bigger I will be moving the clowns to their own tank.

yeah, I agree with fisher here. trigger cant stop themselves from picking at the fins. if the lion seems distressed or his fins look frayed, then pull either the lion or triggers out.
