would like to start a new tank

Hey I would like to start a new fish only tank. I am a beginner and have never owned a big tank. I want to go big, would a 180g be too big? if so what size tank would you suggest.

I’d love to be able to go that big. 180 would be great if you can do it.

bigger is always better. I will say this , you say fish only. you don't need coral but live rock is very important in a sw tank

If you can afford 180 then go for it. Bigger is better, as jay said, and even easier to take care of. Planning and research is everything. Before you begin read and research and plan out exactly what you want to accomplish. Diving in because you can't wait is one of the biggest mistakes new hobbyists make.

thank you so much guys. I have been researching all about saltwater tanks for about 2 months non stop but i didn't know what size tank to go with. I appreciate all the advice.

Had to go wrong with a 180 no matter what your plan is, unless, of course you are going go for a shark tank.
