Whew! I am glad you cleared up that you have a background on the tank. The anemone will go into a ball from time to time and that is normal, however because of the lack of maturity in your tank water substrate and rock yours is probably doing this to acclimate himself to your water parameters. Remember that the tentecles are filled with water and he is trying to balance himself out. Please don't add anything else for a while. Let you system stabilize and let's see where it goes from here. Keep posting your readings and some pics. Lots of people here to help and we will be watching the thread for your updates. ***)

I would also recommand this book.
ordered it off half the other day, shipped the same day so I expect it this week...can't wait!
Learning alot on here..thanks to everyone offering advice!
My levels are all within normal range still..ph 8.2, trites 0, amm 0...but the trates are 10-15ish. One day they are maybe 10..the next 15. Would you recommend a partial water change soon? I did one 8 days ago (only 5g..premixed from LFS.)
ps...I PROMISE not to add another thing to this tank
