would salt disolve faster if i put a heater in the water?

heating it up causes it to dissolve faster. can i put it up to the 90's? or is this a bad idea to speed things up?
 
That should be fine, as long as you let it cool. You will not burn off any minerals or mess anything up. 90 is a fine temperature. Just make sure you let it cool before you test the salinity... But heating wont hurt and helps. Though the difference between 82 to 90 degrees is maby 30 seconds of dissolving time... so you just want to stick a heater in and add the salt a little later.
