Crushed coral is a nitrate trap. You'll have problems with uneaten food and detrius sinking in. In a 60 you'll need at least 75 lb of lr. Fake corals will get covered with algae. Real corals need specific lighting for different types. The tangs need a lot of swimming room, they are very active fish. I hope this helps you with your decision. Yes get a good book and read, and ask questions, this will protect your fish and save you a ton of money.

I don't know but if it catches on people will be stripping creeks and rivers bare of there rocks all across the country! All in the name of reef keeping!

What can replace crushed coral, what is better, is sand the only other option.
And no that is not my dream tank, I want one that will go along the inside of my walls and turn with the wall and all around the room. That'll be great..

Sweetie you found the right site to learn on, and it's great that your asking questions, but. . . It seems from all your other posts that your not listening or not understanding what ALL these other experienced people are suggesting for you! JMO!

As you can tell I don't think thats a dream tank :D But you have come to the right place if you want to learn how to make a dream tank.
If you don't like sand go with a bare bottom tank. CC is a nitrate trap that will crash your tank in the future. Pond rock will not work. You need at least 60 to 75 pounds of LR in a 60g tank. Fish choices I would go with 2 clowns and a yellow tang (small) and 1 royal gramma. That would be plenty fish for that size. Skip all the plastic plants and fake coral. Buy some PC lighting or Metal Halide lighting and get the real stuff. Buy a skimmer and a wet/dry filter. This will get you started a little better.

As Neowind mentioned, barebottom is an option. If you are afraid of rocks falling and breaking the glass, cutting boards or a material called Starboard is a good alternative to place on the bottom of the tank.
If this were my tank, first, I would go for something larger than a 60 and reef ready. Then I would plan a sump and possibly a refugium rather than using the filter recommended by the LFS. I would skip the crushed coral, fake coral, and plastic plants and put that money towards lights or flow producing equipment. I would also skip out on the pond rocks; you just don't know what kind of metals are in there that could leach out. Again, these are only my opinions.
