I am just wanting to ask another question in regards to powerheads. I know the size I would need but instead of a powerhead can I install 2 Aqua Clear Filters? Would this do the same thing as the powerhead?
I reason I ask this is I would love to start my 25 gal and move everything over to it. Hubby is not crazy about me doing this for $$$$$ reasons. I do have 2 filters and if they would do the same thing as a powerhead that would certainly get me going on this much faster.

they move water - so tecnically, yes it's the same thing.
However, powerfilters aren't exactly your best bet:
A: the flow is all in one direction
B: the filter is unnecessary (assuming you're using liverock)
unless you put them on opposite sides of the tank facing eachother - the flow's not going to be very random (a big part of the success of a reeftank)
