i was offer to pick up a 1600 gallon tank for free except i have to pay for set up and delivery. the tank is 8 feet wide. 4feet deep 7 feet tall made out of 4" thick.it will probably cost me 5 k . nothing is really free.

if you have the extra cash then sure why not? question is, do YOU want to get a 1600g tank? ofcourse we will all say yes but we don't have to pay for it and keep it mantained.

ohhh gotchya, well how do you feel about it? can you handle taking care of such a big tank? do you like the dimensions of it? can you purchase the necessary equipment to keep it running?
imagine the stocklist possibilities in that thing, crazy to think about.

IMO...NOOOO...7' tall...lol...I can't even reach the bottom of my 225g...
I would only consider a tank like that if it came with a tank boy to care for it

i was think of cut it make it a 600 gallon rimless . i can handle that i already have 450 total whats 300 more

that could work, maybe make the other half into a sump and if you have extra do a nice fuge...
