thats really cool! if it was gauranteed that it would do well and live a long time, and if i had piles of cash to be throwing around, i would consider it.

I saw those (prob. the same place you did) and they are gorgeous! White, Pink, and Orange versions available. I'd get one if they werent so darn expensive!

I could find so much better ways to spend that money. Coral... definitely not unless I had a research grant or something.

I would gladly pay that kind of money for that, but it would have to spit out gold chunks instead of poo after I fed it.

Prices will definitely range a whole heck of a lot. The cheaper ones are all white maybe with a slight green tint. The more expensive ones have more colors like pink and orange.
Vendors will also markup higher than they need to just because rhizos are so rare and once it's sold they may not be able to get another one in stock for a long time or never.

Cheaper than any price I've seen in a year. I got mine a while ago back when nobody knew what they were.

They are very cool, bit I would have to agree I would not pay that much for one. Does anyone know if they are easy to care for. They look like a bigger version of a dendro.

for that price it might be cheaper to fly down, do all the paper work for harvesting, find one, pick it up and fly home, not to mention i'm sure you could pick up more then just that...
