Later today we have an asteroid passing by, if it were me, I'd leave OK and go to Paris...

That's no good Slice.......Paris Texas is only 45 minutes south of her, and about the same north of me..... lol.....and the sirens were sounding for another tornado around Gilmer texas - just south of paris...gotta think BIGGGER slice....lol
Meow - I saw the tornado warning on the weather channel earlier and was thinking it was pretty close to your town.... Glad your OK up there in OK.....the "sky kites" were both north and south of me today - all we got here was rain..

BAHAHAHA...that's funny Darth.....true kinda...BUT we live in a low area...and most tornadoes tend to skip over or around us....
I live 8 miles from town, and as this was happening my husband said the sun was out at our house....LOL

I was just watching your video on FB, crazy stuff! Tornados are mesmerizing to watch for sure.
A very close friend in Alabama was hit by two in quick succession earlier this year and the devestation was horrendous. So sad, her out there before they were supposed to be looking for her pets. Amazingly, her daughter's guinea pigs made it through.
They held onto their elderly dog through the first, unexpected one in the hallway and the dog lost an eye and ended up with a broken leg after she had to grab whatever when the collar broke and she was being sucked away.
For the second, they were able to get to the neighbors storm shelter. They have just started to clear their land and the family is unsure whether they will stay and rebuild or sell. Their kids still have nightmares.
Since then, the damage seems so much more real to me. Before, they were just random horrible pictures, now I know someone personally.

That joke went Whooosh...
I was attempting to play off Meow's LED thread yesterday when someone asked if the "Paris" referred to was the one in France....I was hoping for a response "Yeah, but which one?!?"...oh well...
