Take the now Ex Governor Blago attitude for what is and DID happen to him recently NOW MULTIPLY THAT BY 100 and you will get OBAMA's when he does not get his way' He will be that person that goes I am taking my ball and going home type of person. He learned his game from King Emil Jones in IL who if he got mad WOULD SHUT THE IL STATE SENATE DOWN JUST BECAUSE HE WAS MAD. EMIL JONES SHUT THE IL SENATE AND ENDED UP SHUTTING DOWN THE STATE BECAUSE HE FELT HE WAS SLIGHTED BY THE SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE MIKE MADIGANS DAUGHTER Atty General Lisa Madigan when she dared to ask him why her budget request was the only one still held up in rules commitee he recalled the WHOLE BUDGET BACK INTO THE RULES COMMITEE for a month 2 days before the old one expired and left the State with no money for a month to pay anyone anything. All because he got mad.

I honestly don't feel like he was being immature. I think that he feels passionate about it and wants others to understand why it is so important. One thing I will say that I like about him is that passion. I don't agree with everything he does or has said for sure but at least he isn't having an attitude of "Oh well..." One of the reasons our country is where it is is because of people not taking action when it is needed and waiting until there is some major disaster before they act.

He's upset because it's important to him.
If this fails, it's going to dog him for his entire first term, and possibly cost him re-election before his first month in office is even over.
Now, on the flip side, that tells you how much he truly does believe this will work. I don't think it will, but it's obvious to me that Obama does. I personally think my right pinkie knows more about capitalist economics than his whole administration, but you gotta admire tha guy's self confidence!
Since I'm shamelessly throwing my opinion out there for all to see...
Does any of this sound like the typical Democrat track record? "I know, let's do up a solution that makes us look good, and by the time it all explodes, the republicans will be back in office and will take the blame!"

I absolutely 110% agree. Every time there is a democrat in office, they make themselves look good, and then the republican in office next gets blammed for the bad and irresponsible actions of the previous president. So true.

What are you arguing at me for????
I just said he thinks it will work... not that I think. Isn't it obvious that he thinks it will?

I wasn't.
I just can't swallow that people are that disillusioned. It is impossible. I find it much more plausible that they have ulterior motives...

its amazing he so cares about fixing the recession and he supports a bill that does little to fix the reason it started, ie the housing issues. make fha loans available at 3.5 to 4% and watch the glut of houses on the market clear up while allowing people to refinance their current loans thus freeing up money to be spent on other things thus stimulating the economy. fixing a bridge is nice and should be done but it will be a couple years for the money to get to the working class. the lawyers and engineers will be planning it (and fighting the environmentalists)for a year or 2 before anything actually gets done.
