Wrasse Help Quick Please!

I just bought a wrasse that was listed as a Melananus (sp) Wrasse (it looks kind of like a Richmond's Wrasse). Has anyone ever heard of these and are they reef safe? I was told they were at teh LFS but I can't find any info on them online and want to make sure they are okay before I put him in the tank.

Can you take a picture and post it? It is usually a good idea to research it before you buy it

Apparently it is a "Halichoeres melanurus" and they are supposed to be reef safe (actually even beneficial!)

Hoeven's wrasse, what a beautiful fish. Enjoy, I wish I had a big enough tank for one right now.

SooO he has been in the tank for a day now and one of my clumps of zoas has been picked apart. Is it likely that he is the culprit or could it be something else like my Blue Jaw Trigger? The trigger has been in there a month or so and has not picked at any thing yet?
