I picked up the bigger fans came with 4 fans and a variable 6 speed controler. Fans are super quite and so far have had no problems. I have 990 watts of light under a canopy and it dropped my tank temp by about 2 degrees, and they are only on the second setting. Also very easy to mount!

were those the 4 x 5" fan setup that was around $100? i was looking at picking those up too. i really liked the variable speed controller, so i can drop the noise during winter and bring it up during summer.
im gonna be doing about the same.. 750 watts of MH and 130 watts PC under a canopy.. do you also have to carry a chiller. here in So Cal, the summer gets warm, but the A/C keeps the house temps around at ~82,

Yup those are it, I just put them on the same timer as the lights and its been working just fine. I missed half of the summer because we just bought a new home but with the A/C it kept the tank at 80. I just setup a frag tank it garage so thats going to be a interesting this summer.
