I have a Remora Pro with Mag3 pump and the Pre-Skimmer box that I paid 226.95 for the Remora Pro with Mag3 pump and paid 42.95 for Pre-Skimmer box at Marine Depot I will take 245.00 shipped for it and it is 4 months old

The pre skimmer box is to get that oily film off the top of the water. It makes the skimmer work 10 times better. It also hides the pump.

Hey I was just about to post. =) Yea I read up on a preskimmer box and decided I don't need it. This skimmer is going in my sump and with all the water movement in there, surface water isn't any worse than the rest of the water.

Do you accept paypal? I am curious, did you take down your tank or just get a new skimmer? I saw your blue hippo tang, very nice. I have one as well, she is almost 6 inches now.

I what one that gos under my cabnet. It would pull out dark green waste and it got the job done for me. do you no that you can run a mag 5 or mag 7 on Remora Proand you would need the AquaC Extended Collection Cup for the mag 7 but not the mag 5 hope that helps :jumping:

Just so you know...I have one on my 90 gallon reef and my trates, trites and phosphates have always tested zero. And that's with only a canister filter AND crushed coral for substrate. So yes the Aqua C remora Pro is as awesome as it seems!! And there's no air valve to adjust all the time like with the bak pak.

I have been using the remora pro now for about 3 years and while it is one of the best HOT skimmers, the euro reef will kick its butt. Since you are looking for a sump skimmer, it might be worth seeing if this one is still available.

Thanks for the link Bob, I need one that will work for a 90 gallon and a 125. The Euroreef ES 5-2 is only good up to 75 gallons. and I'm going to hang it on to my sump, not put it inside. I already have too much stuff in there for a whole skimmer to go inside. Good looking out though.

Our post office is closed until monday. So I will sent it out monday morning. The remora is only good up to a 75 gal. tank. I would ask other people about the regular one not the pro.
