never heard of anyone willing to ship a tank, but maybe it'd help if you filled in your location. there's people from everywhere on the board with extra tanks, but noone's likely to ship. especially when we have no idea where in the world we might have to send it. just a little friendly advice and if you're near kansas city i've got a couple tanks laying around.

Why is shipping a must? What if someone is local.

Why bother with a used tank when you can get a new 75gal for around $125?

I would never buy a fish tank intended for fish at wallmart.I buy nothing but all glass and california custom glass. heck even my non fish tank residents have all glass.I will admit I purchased a used 55 gal acrylic im happy with. but then again its not a wallmart tank.gotta love ----. also concider the water preasure of 75 gal would you trust 1/4 in glass non tempered at that in your house?

dont take my coment too personally hun it wasnt intended to be unsultive.unfortunalty words in type dont show emotions with meanings.it does tend to come out more bold or brash .my appoligies to anyone that has taken offense to my type.
to respond to you response it was meant to create thought it is possible to not spend a fortune and get quality.I have only had fresh water fish years ago i have been into marine fish for the last 2 yrs.if you have never had a bad experience with thin glassed tanks concider yourself fortunate.I made the mistake once and purchased a thin cheep glassed tank b4 i do beleive it was a great lakes tank.my 6 inch gold fish shatter it with his tail you cant imagine how much water pressure comes out of a 55 gal tank. ohh what a mess...I learned the hard way I hope no one else has to.ps I just purchased a used 125 gal for 150.. some LFS do trade ins at times.

I am sorry if my words came across the wrong way. Please forgive me. I have a hard time putting my thoughts in writing, but you are right. one should not buy something made cheap, as we know that in the long run it will most times cost much more.
I just bought a used tank today. Not sure of the gals, but the tank is 24"wide 54"long 24"high. Got real cheap. The glass is real thick as I to would not buy thin glass for fish. Thy are important to me. Kind of like my children, I have to give them the best home that I can.

check the brand name of the tanks my husband was reading this thread while i was posting ealier he stated that our wallmarts does sell some allglass tanks .but dont forget reptile tanks are not strong enough to hold the water pressure.my wall mart carires reptile and fish tanks I personally have never seen an all glass aquarium at wall mart.the 55 gal acrylic i purchased on ---- I paid 150 for it its a truview came with fluval 304 filter system and a wet dry refuge thingy I havent used that .heater oak stand 75 watt actanic 50/50 dual light strips 6 new bulbs blue and white 2 blues 4 white and a few more accessories if you shop around and do alot of price comparisons you could get everything you need for a fraction of the cost.as far as ---- goes if you dont find what you are looking for at first try different wording.some places will ship others are pick up only.the nice thing about pick up only is you can pay when you pick up and you get to see what your are paying for up close. good luck on your search
ps to ggb150
its all good

Do you not have a *****, Superpetz, or petsmart in your area? You should find a tank at any of those places. Also, theres a place in TN www.glasscages.com Not sure how much he is on shipping. Hope this helps.
