Went to hidden reef today and was VERY impressed
They have a TON of corals there, and a lot of equipment and additives / water treatment. I don't have any corals, so i don't know how prices were compared to other places, they had many selections at $20, $25, $30, $35 price range, don't know species or anything
Decent fish selection, though prices are pretty comparable to other stores i've seen, saltwaterfish.com is much cheaper
They did have some nice looking salt water types of algae... I'm building a sump/fuge right now and plan to go back to buy my algae for the fuge there
I recently purchased a pump and some powerheads online cause other fish stores i'd seen were much more expensive, the Hidden Reef has them for like $5 over internet prices, which is actually cheaper when factoring shipping.
Tank selection wasn't huge, but they had a lot of decent sized tanks, many of them pre-drilled; they also have lots of plumbing and lighting supplies to help set up everything
For live rock, they had uncured of several types, and fully cured rock for $6 a pound at cheapest, with live sand at $3 per pound. I'll probably get some live rock there in a couple weeks, i'm going out of town for a week so I couldn't get any now (i'm slowly increasing my stock... i know it's not the best way to do it, but i can't just spend $200 a pop for live rock)
Overall, i was very impressed, it's larger than the competing Shear Heaven in Allentown, but it's only open weekends 10-5.
