i have a 75 gallon that had alot of them in it, but im not going to go threw the sand and get them out, if you want them if you give me 10 dollars and cover shipping ill ship it all to you...live sand hahahahaah
although i did go thre it and pull about 10 of them out to seed my 135 gallon, so maybe i can get my clown shrimp back from a guy i just gave him to =( he was my favorit shrimp too =(

I have a million of these just like everyone else with a SW tank. I don't see why you want to buy them since they are a common hitch hiker on LR and LS. I guess I can charge you $5 per micro star though.

I had the same problem,no brittle stars.I lucked into some QUALITY live rock that had a few in it,now I have lots.You only need a few to get started.Where in Maryland are you?I live in Bedford,PA(about 30 miles North of Cumberland).If your close I can hook you up with a few but I won't ship.

I am willing to pay for them, I wasn't looking for a hand out. I do realize that they are hard to find / catch, but if anyone has a way to catch and ship 5 or more of them in chaeto, sand, shells, whatever, I would love to add some to my tank. can anyone post a pic of the brittle variety? i have plain biege micro stars and also black and white ones. neither of mine look like brittle stars tho - more like serpent stars.
