I am interested in your skimmer. This skimmer can be used as an out of sump skimmer right? Just put the pump in the sump connect to the skimmer intake. If so, I will give you $150.00 for it today if you do free shipping. Shipping should only be $15.00 or so. Let me know and I will shoot you the money asap.

Hmm problem is I would also have to lay out the cash for packaging (box, bubble wrap, ect..) to insure it gets to you in one piece. I am waiting on the responce form one other person intereted if they pass I am willing to split shipping with you . how does that sound?

yeah thats fine. Just for an example of cost. I just shipped off a 48'' life reef skimmer and did the packaging, shipping, insurance for $22.00
I had a box laying around, which I used. Then went into town and found one of those newspaper boxes with free classified adds, or rental listings. Took about 20 of them and used the paper to crunch up and will the box with for padding. It worked very nicely and did not cost me anything...Just an idea.
I think you can get these new for $170.00, right? I might be looking at the wrong model. Let me know what the model number is please. Thanks again.

I have an etss reef devil I would be willing to sell, it is the older model with a rectangular base as opposed to the round base. The skimmer is in good shape, but however the collection cup separated from its bottom and was reattached using silicone does not effect the function at all just looks a little sloppy, could be made to look new with come acrylic glue. I would let it go for $130 shipped. Has a gate valve attached , you would need to drill your sump.

Here are some pics, the skimmer is 23" tall at its highest. The gate valve would need to be plumbed back into the sump via bulkhead drilled into the sump. Also the sump level needs to be constant and no deeper than an inch or two above the black "box" area on the bottom of the skimmer. Once this is setup and broken in it rocks and is fairly maintenance free.

i have a coralife super skimmer 125 for sale. when i was using it on 75gallon it filled cup every couple days. approx. 3 months of use. i have original box but cannot find directions but they should be downloadable. i live in bellefontaine. are you columbus area?

CORR- What kind of pump does your skimmer use? How loud is this? I know that is a pretty subjective question...maybe compare it to something else in noise level, lol?
1MANAGAIN-I have heard from a couple of people that this is a pretty loud skimmer, what do you think abou the noise level?

Ideally, I am looking for a recirculating skimmer. Just because I hear they are the quietest. Noise level is a huge factor for me when choosing a skimmer, so please everyone indicate if your skimmer is quiet or not.
I know some people say they cannot even hear thier skimmer if they have the ear up to it, I want one like that!
