should i run my skimmer when my live and base rock is curing in my tank?
BTW i do hav 12 blue hermits crwaling around n seem like their doin fine

O boy, hope they make it. No, you don't have to run a skimmer in the cycle process. Should after its done. Are you running a filter now?

i am not running a filter right now i was goin to use the LR for my filter

You need to run a filter, unless you are running a sump too???

I hope you have power heads for water movement during this cycle?The hermits probably wont make it if the LR was not cured.

i hav a powerhead in right now 400gph in a 50 hex
and no i do not hav a sump...what is the big deal with sumps and their purpose???

I would add another powehead if you are not running a filter.
You should leave the skimmer off during the cycle.
I hope the hermits make it. Just make sure not to add anything else until your ammonia and nitrites are 0.
