Yesssss my lates came in after waiting an agony of like 2 weeks, but hopefully my tank would become more stable now with the lights.

I just got my first set of mh lights a couple weeks ago. I have them on a timer 12 on 12 off. I turn the moon lights on when the mh goes off at 7 and turn them off when I go to bed. I was told if I left the moon lights on over night i'd have a lot more algea growth.

I have never heard that moonlights cause algae thats a new one for me. moonlights are supposed to simulate the moonlight that the reef would already receive in the wild.
if you are upgrading lights just becareful not to shock the corals with the new light.

When people talk about stimulating reef with moon lights what do you mean by this? another question I heard that people said that you can breed coral with moonlights? is this true ?
What other benefits are there for moonlights and do I have to leave them on over night cause if I do thats fine for me just wondering?

The moonlights that come on fixtures are mainly for looks. Unless you know the actual lunar cylces and can replicate them (or use some of the fancy systems) they won't do much.
