I downloaded the reefcon pro program and i says something about a x-10 device and theres a button to turn it of and on is it to control your tank ligts or something

X10 is for home automation and such... do a web search and you should get plenty of information on what exactly it is.

You could use it to control lights, pumps, etc. One nice thing about it is you dont have to worry about setting the timers all together.

Go to pc mags website... the one guy wrote a review on home automation and touched a bit on this subject either this month or last month. It basically works by plugging into a device between the device and the power outlet and then works off of signals sent through yoru homes electrical lines... pretty neat stuff

I went to radio shack .com and found over 50 diffrent devices is there a specific one i need for the program that i have Reefconpro of many things can one device control :help:
