Mine is great...I bought it the first day and use it almost every night without any problems. Its doubled as a media center as well as a game machine and now I'm streaming High Definition Video to it.

go for the new elite edition, bigger hard drive, and still cheaper than the PS3. My roommate had a problem with his over heating, but if you keep it in a place with air moving around it it should be ok... after all my roommate's 360 was in an entertainment unit, with the tv and was played for on average 6 hours a day (it got a little warm
also in the defense of the system the ac was broken in the apartment for 3 weeks. Not fun when the apartment starts out at 82 degrees). There are some pretty good games available for the system, and the 360 actually has exclusive games unlike the PS3, kinda makes the game selection more unique.
Plus there is nothing like using a chainsaw bayonet some guy on live in Gears of War! Crackdown is amazing... it makes any other free roam game look like junk. Lost Planet is also pretty cool. I would say go for the 360, better game selection, good system, and the controllers actually have a rumble feature.

yes they are good. you get your lemons now and then, but the factory service program is awsome. rs:vegas is by far the best 1st person shooter!

never had a problem with mine... i vowed i would never get a 360, but a buddy was hard up for cash and i got 9 games and a bunch of extras for $300... i couldnt pass it up!!!
i am still gonna get a PS3... but there are still problems with those and the price is still a bit high...

I won't let my boyfriend get one for a another year or so because out of six friends that had one, every one has broke! Last one just went last week. Just think we will wait this one out for a while, I would rather not have to send it in to get fixed but at least they are doing that, they extended a couple of the warrenties on my friends which was good customer service at least.

yeah i know a lot of people that are having them that are breaking all of a sudden. And when you cll to have them help you they say its having some kind of SEZIURES?
..the one I had also did the same thing... but anyways I also have a ps3 and those are way better more things to do just an overall dominate system over xbox 360. and trust I know im a gamer lol i play my game like at least 11 hours a day I have no life right now just gettin ready to start college..
But i wouldnt get a 360 go with a ps3

i played mine for exactly 11 months just about every week before it broke. sent it in for a new one, that took a month. the new one will not play certain games, even brand new out of the package. i guess i'll be sending it out again. i won't spend the money on a ps3, but i'm thinking if i sell my 360 i could get a wii.

I've had a 360 since Christmas no problems except be careful because if you put it on its side it scratches the games up. Had to rebuy 1 game, only problem I've had. I love my 360.

My roommate's just died today. He bought the premuim package about a month or so after it came out, and now all it does is display a really pretty flashing red light. He's got a PS3 sitting right next to it that works just fine, but I wouldn't be surprised if that thing starts acting up a year or so from now.

its pretty good and the hd gaming is great. i would recomend you lay it on its side not standing up though.

The guy at the store said that the only reason to buy a fan is if you play for days straight which if you do you have a problem. no offense. Peace

I meant standing up like a tower oppossed to flat out. It shouldn't have problems horizontal and has had problems verticaly. Also never move or bump it while running, another way to scratch a 60$ game.
