its worth the money
Thats one of the coolest things... but lets not forget one aspect of the whole thing. Sony IMO didnt market this the right way to justify the price they wanted to charge for these units..
If you are wanting a total "gaming experience" altough I dont have one and prob never will, I agree with the 360 owners its prob the most logical way to go. Having said that the PS3 is wayyy more than a gaming system. Look at it like a computer and a blu ray disk player to boot. Alone on the shelf those players are close to if not $1000. If you have no need for that, again the PS3 is not for you. But as far as all inclusive hardware and capabilities the PS3 wins all catagories. You cant compare the launch titles of the PS3 with the games that are out now for the Xbox its not fair at all. Developers for the PS3 have yet to realize its full potential what its strongest attributes are weather its Bg rendering, hardware acceleration etc etc... for them to make a game that uses the full potential of the system at launch wouldnt be the smart thing to do. How many times does your personal computer at home lock up on you? or have a glitch or a hicup of some type. How many of those issues are you 100% positive that its your computers hardware and not some software you have installed on it. Game devolpers are as wary as hardware developers are when something launches for the first time. Every one takes it slow in the beggining no matter what you read to the contrary. I just think that to market a system like the PS3 you need to have the want or the need for all of its capabilities or else all you see is a large price tag on a video game console. Lets compare games in a year.. xbox to ps3, I bet PS3 will shine.. IMO.
