How will i know if he is dead,he was wilted over for last 2 days,his branches kinda was hanging off the rock,so i took it all off rock an rubber banded him to a different rock he has plenty of light an flow,if he is dead would it start breaking apart thanks guys also all reading are good temp 80 to 81 sg 1.023

I had problems with my 1st frag. How rough was it handled as it was transfered? I think that's what did mine in. I was far more careful the 2nd time. Also...mine seemed to like a lower temp as well...when I got it below 80 they seemed to apprciate it. My lfs told me that they need iodine as well...any idea what your iodine lvls are?
As to if it's dead...mine let go of the rock and looked really shrivled up. Oh yeah...there isn't much that smells worse than dead Xenia...it's pretty gross.

Yeah he passed away,was gagging from the smell,can it be my sg 1.023 was too low,i dont have a iodine test kit

Your gonna want to raise your SG up to atleast 1.25. Id do some major water changes to tey to get the phosphate down as well

Every week i do a 25%water change,like i said justed stared using ro water so that should help,would my fish be affected if i raise sg up to 1,025
