He is using epoxy/ putty. Here is a product that is new and you don't get the bright white in your tank. Not sure if it is available here in the US though?

The bright white is a pain for pictures for awhile, but it shortly assumes the natural color of the live rock with coralline growth etc. I've tried the superglue stuff, but for some applications it just isn't practical.
