I went to a new LFS this weekend and decided to buy a few things. I bought some xenia, 2 types of recordia, and some green stripe mushrooms. Almost everything is doing good. The ricordia is all twice as big today, as it was in the store, the mushrooms are opening up, but the xenia is another story. I acclimated it all last night with the drip method for about 1 1/2 hours. When I put it in the tank, the xenia opened up and stayed open until I shut off the lights. I was really busy a work today so I didn't get to see the tank all day, but when I looked this afternoon, half of the xenia was opened half way and the other half looked "wilted" but was still moving. Is it dying, or does it do that when it is stressed? I have it in the middle of the tank under 2- 96 watt PCs, Should I move it closer to the light? Any help would be greatly appreciated
